Vintage Letter to Santa (notice how Gertrude spells Santa)

Dec. 21, 1900

Dear Mrs. Santa Claws,

I would like a nice book or riddles, and lots of nice books to read. I would like a ? ofd paper with figures of little girls and bboys on it.

I would like a pet of some kind and some pretty things. I (guss) guess that is all for this year.
