I am looking for any information on J.W. von Demmer. He fled Germany during W.W.I to the states and his wife had a son named Lionel Victor von Demmer then he gave his son to the Keel family in Bilox, MS at three years of age. His last known whereabouts were Mobile, AL and from there he was going to Chile to do some engineering work. He graduated from Heidleberg in the early 1900's. Would like any family information. We think his wife's name was Bonnie but she died in Atlanta, GA during childbirth.
