Dorothy Emma Dench, 73, of Edgewood passed away Dec. 2 at her residence.
Dorothy was born Nov. 12, 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pa. She married James Vincent Dench Sr. on Jan. 27, 1948, in Washington, Pa. Dorothy will be remembered as a loving wife and mother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, James V. Dench Jr. and wife Pamela of Moriarty, David B. Dench Sr. and wife Deborah of Belle Fourch, S.D., and Richard E. Dench and wife Debra of Rio Rancho; her daughters, Patty M. Dench of California, Vivian J. Hesselden of Springfield, Mo., Linda Simmons and husband Tom of Las Vegas, Nev., and Christine Dench of Albuquerque; a sister, Jean Cvetic and husband Harry of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James V. Dench Sr.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty. Interment followed at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty. Pastor Chris Branan officiated.
