      <description>Benjamin Denice was born in Highland Co.OH.&lt;br&gt;in 1832/33..Family moved to Central IL. whenhe was about 8. His family disappeared&lt;br&gt;from records during this time. He surfaced &lt;br&gt;in IA married to Nancy Brown in July 1855.&lt;br&gt;He served in the Civil War was discharged for blindness. Was propriator of Percy House in Missouri Valley IA for years. Moved to Ventura CA. late 1800 and died there Mardh 1804. Who were his Parents, siblings??&lt;br&gt;Family seemed to be close to Schenck Family.</description>

PEOPLE CHANGED THE SPELLING OF LAST NAMES MANY TIMES OVER THE YEARS.&lt;br&gt;MY FOREFATHERS CAME FROM THE NEW YORK CITY ALSO BACK IN 1638.&lt;br&gt;MAYBE YOU WOULD FIND INFORMATION IF YOU MADE YOUR SEARCHES WIDER.</description>
