Oscar A. Denlinger

Looking for information on an Oscar A. Denlinger. I have a copy of a Marriage Record but it is somewhat difficult to read. It looks like his father was Abe Denlinger, mother's maiden name Rippenger, wife's name Lovica Baker, her father's name Edward. Date filed looks like 28th Jan. 1909. His age could have been 35 and was married once before. License was filed in Montgomery County, Ohio.

I have been told that Oscar (O.A) had a billard parlor in Enon, Ohio, have even seen a token from that parlor. I am trying to find out who his parents were, his wife(s) and children.

You can contact me at jbdenlin@sbcglobal.net

Sorry for the delay in responding. I really do not know but John Denlinger was my grandfather (Earle Bertz Denlinger) was my father and he would have been 96 years old this August. So I think not since there is a big age difference.

I am good friends with a Matthew Eby Denlinger of Straburg, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. His father's name is Donald E. Denlinger (born 1940's). Supposedly the Ebys and Denlingers in Lancaster County married into each other's family quite often.
Donald's parents are conservative Mennonites who are still alive in their 90's.
Is there any possible connection with your John E. Denlinger?
Thanks!
Miguel R. Labrego
