Denmead - Looking for the Irish-English Connection

I'm having a bit of fun looking up my family tree. I am Irish, currently living in Brighton England. My Dad has started putting together the old Denmead Tree in Ireland (and is doing rather well). We know the family name came into Ireland at the end of the 18th century (a couple from Palatine Germany via England). Clearly, a goodly number of Denmeads hung about in England. There is even a village called Denmead, which is composed of quite a dynamic group of people (http://denmead.parish.hants.gov.uk/).
My question: Has anyone out there made the same connection with their Palatine roots? Thereby hopefully connecting the Irish and the English family trees. Any other information welcome too, of course.
