Charles Gottlieh Dennewitz, married Dorothy Sales. Children: Isreh,Harmon, Mary Frances,
Jane, George, Lizzie, Sarah, Phil,Melrina, Jemina, John and on child that died at birth.

Thanks but the family I'm looking for is Charles Fredrick & Mary Frances Dennewitz. The other names are Charles Gottlieb Dennewitz married Dorothy Sales, Children:
Isreh,Harmon,Mary Frances, Jane, Edward,George,Lizzi, Sarah, Phil, Melrina, Jemima, & John. can't find any info on them. I know that Chares came from Germany and Dorothy was from PA. if you have seen these name or know where or how to look, please let me know. Thanks for your help.

Jacob Stephen Dennewitz, b 25 Nov 1872

Mary Josephine Burkett, b 22 Sept 1874

They were married 19 Feb 1894 in Bainbridge, Putnam, IN.

Jacob Stephen Dennewitz, born November 25, 1872 in Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio; died May 02, 1914 in Bainbridge, Putnam County, Indiana. He was the son of 4. John Frederick Dennewitz, Jr. and 5. Mary Magdalene Snyder.

More info on Mary Burkett:
Mary Josephine Burkett, born September 22, 1874 in Putnam County, Indiana. She was the daughter of 6. Andrew Jackson Burkett and 7. Dulcena Evelyn Scott.

I also have a 4th and 5th generation photo that include Mary Burkett and Dulcena Scott.

I'm in the tree under George W., Jacob's brother. I have in my info. that Mary Ellen married a man by the name of Henry Klennert. I must be wrong...can you help me fill in the blanks? I'm looking for dates, etc. Any info. would be greatly appreciated! I have tons of info. on the Dennewitz Tree!

Amanda...Where in the Dennewitz Family Tree are you? Here is where I am in the Dennewitz side (my mother's side):
Jacob Dennewitz married Mary J. Burkett;
one of their children was Mary Ellen Dennewitz; who married John Herman Stafford; they had one child - Helen Addie Belle Stafford; She gave birth to my mother - Mary Ellen Wissen.

I am searching for information on Alva Dennewitz.Born 1882 died 1970. Also Bertha Giffen Dennewitz born 1884, died 1947. These are my grandparents. I know they are in the MT Olivet Cemetary but can find no other info. Have checked up the 1920 cencus and have found nothing. Im pretty sure they resided in Wood Co from about 1915 til the time they died. They lived on Putnam St in Parkersburg WV. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
