Jennie Dennis is my paternal great-grandmother. She was born on Whiddy Island, a small island in Bantry Bay, West Cork, Ireland in around 1882.

Jennie came to the U.S. around 1906, married my great-grandfather, John Donovan in St. Louis, MO, and then they relocated to San Francisco, where they started their family.

In 1920 Jennie died from childbirth complications.

Sadly, this is all that I know about her. I am looking for any information on the Dennis family from County Cork in the 1880s, or in the Missouri or San Francisco areas in the early 1900s.

Of course, her real name might be something else... I'm just not sure. Can anyone help?
