My wife's Dennis line, which I have researched thoroughly, goes back to a Wm Dennis, b. ca 1770 in Louden Co., Va., d. 1830 in Guernsey Co., Ohio. He married a Jane Parrish and had eight children, including a Jacob. He also had a son Wm., Jr., who m. a Mary Newman, and they also had a son named Jacob. They also had a son named Jacob, and lived out their lives in Bearfield Twp. in Perry County, Ohio.
