Hi and thank you for your reply to that old posting. I am Bill Pickett at cathyquilt@earthlink.net (my wife and I use the same email addrerss). If your grandfather Leland Denny, Jr. was born in 1935 in Scotia, N.Y. (and died in 2008 in Frederick, MD), he would be my cousin. Based on your email name (babe88_md) that seems likely. His parents would then be Leland Sr. and Mildred Evelyn Pickett (b. 18 Dec. 1912; d. 1948). Mildred Pickett was my father’s sister. The parents of my father (William Sr.; b. 1910; d. 1966) and Mildred Pickett were John Patrick Pickett and Pauline Pankanie. John Patrick Pickett was b. in the US in 1870 and his parents were John and Eliza who came to the US from Ireland about 1862. I have some information on Pauline (b. 1882, Germany[?]; d. 1943) and a little more John Patrick (d. 1934).

If we are cousins and you would like, I would enjoy exchanging information. A great hope of mine is to find copies of any picture(s) of these ancestors.
