Looking for date of death and where buried for Hilaire Genereux. He was born in 1846 the son of Hilaire Genereux and Sophia Lamoureux. The family lived at LaPointe, Ashland Co., WI. Hilaire married Marie Denomme She was born at LaPoint 30 May 1852. Hilaire and Marie were married at LaPointe on 29 Jul 1867. Hilaire also went by Eli Genery. He served in the Civil War and got a land grant in Delta Co., MI finalized in 1883. I suspect he died in Wisconsin after 1883 as Marie had taken the four children and went back to Bayfield, WI. She may have died at Bayfield about 1910. Would like to find death dates and places of buriel for both Hilaire and Marie. Any help would be great. Thank you. Judy
