Hi Peggy
I saw your email to Rose and wanted to ask you if you have any information on the name Denzlinger?
I am looking for information on Jacob Denzlinger and his wife Pauline ? who came from Germany. He had a son Henri who had a son William Henry Denzlinger that moved from New York to Texas. All the Denzlingers I can find now live in Texas and are descendants of William Henry. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks
Norma

Hi Peggy , I'm new to this computer to looking in the family tree. I wrote one message .but am not sure it went as I forgot to put a subject.so if it did most of this is repeated. We live in The Dalles, Or. I was excited to see your message. My husbands grandfather, Frederick move to Oregon in 1901, i think. I found a letter in the bible dated 1901 found them in 1900 in Forest Co. Jenks twp .I also found Frederick, his Mother Tressia (Theresa Fisher)and his older brother Frank on the 1870 census in Clarion Co. Luncinda , Knox twp. Frank Tressia were born in Germany. Frank would have been b. 1839 Tressia in 1813. Frederick born 1857 in PA. I found them again in 1880. Frank had added a wife 2 sons.Henry George. In 1900 both Frederick Frank had families, but no Mother, I would like to know which John was father to family, where they are buried. Thank you so much for the message. Rose

Denslinger Family

Hi Rose I just by chance put the Denslinger name in and up popped your message. Where are you from? I was born in Fryburg, Clarion Co. PA and my grandmother was Anna Denslinger. I found a son of John B and Theresa Fischer Denslinger listed in the St. Joseph Lucinda, PA Church Book but his name was Francis Xavier born Jan 1839 in Hugstetten Germany. What make this a little confusing is that there were several John Baptist and Francis Xavier. Both of these names appear in my tree. I am sure that they were all related. We just have to sort it out. I have a lot of history of Denslingers that I'd be happy to share and I can give you a name of a person to contact: Helen (Denslinger) Hoover Fryburg, PA 16326. She knows all the Denslingers. Please write back and give me more info because now I am curious!! Peggy
