Elizabeth Davis Densmore

Looking for information on where Elizabeth Davis, wife of Joel Henry Densmore, was in 1900. The family settled mostly in Yavapai County, Arizona, but a lot of her children were in Colorado in 1900 census. I have seen online that she died around 1907 and was buried at Citizens Cemetery in Yavapai County, but I have been unable to locate her in 1900 census.
Her children were
1) Ida Sarah Dinsmore, wife of William Waters Durbin, in Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona in 1900 when she died.
2) Henrietta "Etta" Dinsmore, wife of James Maxwell, in Prescott in 1900
3) Eva Belle Densmore, wife of Joseph E Nesbit, in Wagoner, Yavapai County, Arizona in 1900
4) Nellie Lou Densmore, wife of John Boone Crosby, in Cherry Creek, Yavapai County, Arizona in 1900
5) Viola Densmore, wife of Joseph Andrew Gilmore, living with her brother Paul, under her married name, in Colorado City town, El Paso County, Colorado in 1900
6) Edwin J Densmore, husband of Nancy Bell Lacy, in Woodland Park, Teller County, Colorado in 1900
7) Willie Densmore ( I have not found for sure in 1900, along with his mother).... may POSSIBLY be the same William Arther Densmore in Colorado in 1910 with wife Mary Bouns, but doubtful.. Any information on Willie would be appreciated. He was born about 1878 according to 1880 census in Arizona.
8) Paul Henry Densmore, husband of Emma Wright, in Colorado City town, El Paso County, Colorado in 1900, his sister Viola Densmore Gilmore living with him.

Looking for ANY information on where Elizabeth Davis Densmore was in 1900 census, or ANY information on son Willie would be appreciated. Thank you.

Densmore's of Seneca New York, Pennsylvania, and Winnebago Wisconsin. Hosea and Asa Densmore.

Hey Densmores,

Re: Hosea Densmore son Of Asa Densmore and Amanda Southwick

Im looking for the Densmore family line from Seneca New York, but keep running into another Densmore family line from Boston Mass around the same time (mid 1700's) and would love any help...

Hosea Densmore was born about 1829 in Pennsylvania. He married Sally Jane Ashley and then married Mary A Keep. His children were Amanda Diademia, Carrie, and possibly Elmer Leroy, Annie Lucern, and Allas M.

Where I am stuck is Hosea's father. Asa Densmore b. 1799 d. 1880. in Wisconsin. He married Amanda Southwick in 1822. They lived in Seneca New York. Children; Chloe Julia, Hosea, Hannah Eleanor, and Nathan Guy.

I know they eventually left New York for Winnebago Wisconsin, but before Seneca, before Asa, I cannot find the right Densmore line. Does anyone know Asa Densmore's parents???

I would love any help, and have a ton more information if someone in this line needs any information.

thanks

On page 1 of the book "The Densmore Family" it says that ancestor John Dinsmore came from Scotland to Bellyustick, Antrim, Ireland and raised his family. I work on the British Isles floor of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City and I have been unable to locate a townland in Antrim by this name or any phonetic close matches.
Bill Compton

Have recently discovered that maiden name of my gg grandmother, Anna Hare,(Mrs. James Madison Hare) is CROUCH. (Parents John and Charlotte Crouch of Peru.) In 1924 Anna's brother Josiah T. Crouch's probate notice was published. Included in list of heirs were Oscar, Nelson and Maude Densmore. I suspect that one of Josiah's Crouch siblings married a Densmore. Of course want to know more.

Linda Guynup Dewey

Hi Jeff,
) was born 3 miles from where Matilda Wallace Densmore was born in N.S. and have done the Wallace history. Her father was my great great grandfather, Thomas Wallace, who married Eliza Mosher. So Matilda's mother, sister and daughter were named Eliza. The mother died at or after Matilda's birth and Thomas married Ellen Bruce. They had 8 children, all boys but one. That one was Euphemia and I see that Matilda's 5th child was Euphemia. There was a daughter, Mary J. born Rawdon c 1848 who may have died young.

Gwen

looking for info on two Densmore women from Hants County, NS who were both married to DAVID DALRYMPLE (b.1823 @ Kennetcook, d. 1914 Milford Station). David Married MATILDA DENSMORE (no dob) from Noel in 1845. They had 5 children between 1845 and 1859. In 1860 David married MARY JANE DENSMORE (b. 1829 Hants Co, d. 1883 @ Milford Station -she is buried with David in the Milford Cemetery). David and Mary had 7 Children between 1862-1872. I cannot trace the families of either of these Densmore women...are they related perhaps? Any insight will be helpful.

Matilda's father was Thomas Wallace, who m. Eliza Mosher. The name, Euphemia, was for Eliza's half sister, who raised a large family in Cal.
Do you have much info. on Arnold's family? I have 7 ch. listed and 5 ch. of John Wm. Densmore.

His father, David Densmore b. 1767 in CT, moved to New Baltimore, Green Co., NY and started a large family. The family relocated to Livingston Co., in the 1820's. They were all enumerated in the 1850 census in Steuben County. Betsy married Asa Fisk.
