My husband posted the message but I am the Dent in the family. This is Jo (LaVelle J. Dent Willis) writing to you. Jane Dent was my great grandmother who came to Oregon with her five children in 1880. They settled in the Hopewell area near Salem. Jane Dent's son Robert Dent was my grandfather. His son, Robert Clyde Dent was my father. I am very interested in any information you may have on this family.
