Now, I'm still not clear where your father was from. You say in one message that he was from Illinois and in another message you say he's from Kentucky -- Louisville (Jefferson County). I can't help you with Illinois Depps, but I have loads of stuff on Kentucky Depps. Here are some Jefferson County Depps I've run across in Federal Census records, as well as birth and death records. The mothers listed below are listed under their maiden names as they appear on the birth certificates. Maybe you'll find an aunt or cousin or grandparent among them.
