Hi, fortunatly thanks to some cousens, I have my line pretty well worked out. So, starting with myself, here is my DePew line:
Richard Maxwell>(Mother)Betty Jean Kring>(Her Mother)Agnes G. Taylor>(Her Mother)Sarah Eva DePew b. in Purdy, Barry Co. Mo. d. Pierce City, Barry Co. Mo. daughter of Eli Henry DePew and Sarah McGuire. Grandma Sarah's siblings were William Henry DePew and Mary Jane DePew, all of Barry County. Eli died while visiting his son William in Granby, Newton Co. Mo. during a bad winter storm. He was burried in the Cemetery in Granby since the storm was too bad to bring him back to Purdy. I am still looking for his wife's grave. I is supposed to be in Purdy. William is burried next to his father in Granby. Eli was from Dade County. You can see the full tree at my Ancestry.com family tree Maxwell Kin of Barry Co. Missouri.
If there are any particulars that you want, just email me at
richardemaxwell@yahoo.com. Some confusion can be arise out of the fact that we had brother and sister marring brother and sister. William Henry DePew married Etta Cordillia Taylor, sister of O.L. "Lenard" Taylor who married my great grandmother Sarah Eva DePew, William's sister. Eli and Sarah McGuire were married in Dade County, Missouri. I have contacted the McGuire DNA study, and have her line.
