Does ANYONE ANYWHERE have any info on an Elijah Depew or Simeon possibly Simon Depew??? I know for a fact that Sim Depew is my ggrandfather. Unfortunately he died when my grandfather was 13 and my grandfather hated him anyways so never spoke much about him to his kids. Sim Depew's children's names in oldest to youngest order are: George Ellsworth, Albert Allen, Andrew Olen, then there's a 9 yr gap between kids (the previous three are all three years apart)John Ernest (my grandfather), Emma Esther, Walter Lemuel. Someone somewhere says Sim Depew married a Holden(I found this in some LDS records but that's all it says) I found a book on Holden genealogies called 'The Holden genealogy : ancestry and descendants of Richard and Justinian Holden and of Randall Holden' the info for one of the entries says that a Simeon E. Depew gave the info to the author. It says that Sim had 6 children and that he was born in 1875 and says his father was Elijah and his mother was Malissa Caroline Holden. I'm assuming it's the right Simeon. I think it's a good assumption if I'm wrong please tell me. OK long enough post for now.
