I'm searching for some information on this surname. All I know is that there was a family fathers name was Moses or Samuel Depew/Depue. This family lived in the BlackRock area (Buffalo, NY) around the early 1800's. This family was supposedly scalped by indians except for a little boy by the name of Isaiah Depew/Depue.
