Wow, what a long messageboard title! I am interested in contacting researchers/ descendants of Louis Depot and M.Josephte Leroux-Cardinal, who wed Nov.22, 1751 St.Pierre de Sorel, Quebec. Last few generations of the family from St. Pie, Quebec/ St.Damase, Quebec area (descendants may very well still be in area.). There is a lot of misinformation out there concerning the origins (or lack thereof) of Pierre Dépot b. ca. 1800.

With the help of Pierrette Despots, I was able to trace back Pierre's origins. Pierre Narcisse Dépot b. 23 dec 1799, St-Antoine sur Richelieu, s/o Joseph Louis Dépot and Suzanne Brault.
m Suzanne Tchinouk, 1830, St-Lewis, Marion, OR.
m Marg. Klamack, 23 jan 1839, Stella Maris Mission, OR.
m Elisabeth "Lisette" Gagnon, 23 aug 1858,St-Lewis, Marion, OR.
D 26, b 28 apr 1868, St-Lewis, Marion, OR.

Hi! Iam looking for informations on my ancestors. My great-greatgrandmother Marie Depau ( a native ) was born about 1764 at Baie des Chaleurs,PQ. She is the daughter of Thomas Depau and Marie Anne Fougeret. She married Johann Frobe, Agerman, on February 20, 1786 at La Pocatiere, PQ. She died on May 1, 1854 at Cacouna, PQ. I would like to know the names of the parents of Thomas Depau and Marie Anne Fougeret. All informations concerning this famillies would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
