I am working on a John Carl Heinrich WALTER that settled in Charter Oak, IA. He married Dora RADECK b.1870 in Germany and I have found that her parents were Fredrich and Sophie WISTIE RADECK. I found them also living in Charter Oak. On World Connect I found Catherina RADECK married to Wilhelm Fredrich Carl Dersien living in Denison, Crawford Co., IA and wondering if she is also a daughter of Fredrich and Sophie RADECK. They seemed to have immigrated to America in the early 1880's.

My grandparents came from Germany to Australia not long after World War 2. There names are Egon and Wilma Radeck. They had 8 children. Egon has passed away a few years ago, but Wilma is still alive now living in Brisbane QLD Australia.

I am hoping that some will assist me in information about Wilhem (William) Dersien b 1830 and came from Brandenburg Germany in 1872. They settled in the Crawford County Iowa area. Would love to have any information to continue this tree.
