This may not help you at all but my great-great grandmother was Francisca DeRoo who was born March 8, 1828 in Watervliedt Belgium. She had a sister Urgela who married a cousin and there are many double realtionships fin the U.S. They had 4 brothers who remained in Belgium, Pieter, Carolus, Ivo and Leonardus (died as infant) so it is possible one of those There are living DeRoo's in Belgium most in the northern provinces around Watervliedt.
