Derrig from Aughagower Parish to Dunmore, PA

Surnames: Flynn, Butler, Moran, Hennigan, O'Malley, Dougherty, Scott, Mahady
This post concerns the Derrig, Flynn, Moran and Butler families who immigrated from the Aughagower Parish, Co Mayo to Dunmore, Pa
The Flynn's of Dunmore are supposed to be related to the Derrig's of Dunmore, unfortunately there is two Derrig families in Dunmore who people tell me are not related. Consequently I do not know if the Flynn’s are related to Dennis Derrig or Patrick Derrig. I have found a Flynn/Derrig marriage in St Patrick's, Aughagower Parish, Co Mayo. On February 9, 1822 a Patrick Derrig of Aughagower married Bridget Flynn of Aughagower. I assume then that Patrick was born about 1795 and Bridget about 1805
I have collected the following info concerning The Dunmore Derrigs.
Dennis Derrig b about 1850 in Mayo immigrated in 1870 to Dunmore and married Mary ? before 1872 in St Mary's. Children: Cassie,b 1872; Winnie,b 1873; Patrick, b Feb 1876; John,b March 1878; Bridget,Dec 1879; William, Aug 1880; and Dennis July 1893. Dennis bothers me--- 21 year span from oldest to youngest.
The other Derrig family from Dunmore is Patrick Derrig b abt 1823 in Mayo.
Patrick married Winnie ? born abt 1820 in Mayo. I do not know if they were married in Mayo or Dunmore however their children were all born in Dunmore. Patrick b March 1859 and Annie b1865 ( I only found two children listed in the US Census, there could have been others). Patrick b 1859 married Marie Sweeney, b 1866 from Dunmore, in St Mary's in 1882. They had 11 children. Katherine b Jan 1884; Winnie b June 1885; Minnie b Jan 1887; Charlotte b June 1888; Patrick b May 1890; Florence b March 1892; Richard b Nov 1893; Evelina b June 1898; Michael b May 1899; Alice b 1907 and Hubert b 1910.
Dennis immigrated in 1870. Patrick immigrated before 1859. The Flynn’s and Butler’s immigrated in 1867, All four families lives in the Sport Hill section of Dunmore in the immediate vicinity of Drinker St, Flynn Street and Winton St. I believe in one census Pat and Dennis were next door neighbors, which leads me to wonder about the information I received from relations that Pat and Dennis were not related.
Does any one have any additional information concerning the above Derrig families? I would appreciate any inputs you could provide.
