This is an update on my family line. My Mary and Marguerite Derrig were from the Toledo, Ontario Canada area. They were both born in Canada. Mary A. was born 11/1856. According to a small blib I found in one of the Ogdensburg, New York papers, Mrs. P.J. Donovan went to Toledo in 1893 to her mother's funeral Mrs. James Derrig. The mother's maiden name may have been Mary Quinn. Census records haven not been helpful for some reason. The Derrig name I believe was sometimes spelled Derrick also. Mrs. P.J. Donovan would be Marguerite. I know for sure now that I am looking for a James Derrig family from Toledo, Ontario Canada. I also believe there was a brother of Mary and Marguerite named John and maybe a sister named Anna. John may have married Catherine Buchanan. Any new input on this would be greatly appreciated.
