Benjamin Franklin Dowell died at Raleigh , Tn...Now..considered..Memphis, Tn..., Raleigh Area...

But like you I have some history..of family back of Benjamin
Franklin Dowell.., I feel he was born before 1871 in Va...near
Advance , Abemarle Co., Va..
He was a brother...to my James Isham Dowell...and may have
been the reason..my James Dowell born 1-15-1781 in Va..brought his family to Shelby Co., Tn...in 1836..
