Joseph DeSimone Bridge

I have also seen this bridge and asked around about it as I am descended from DeSimone's from Italy and NY. I live in the Eastern part of Washington state and was visiting my son who lives in the Seattle area. I found out the bridge was named for the owner of the Pike Street Market which he founded. If you were there in that area it is very close to the market. My son sent me a listing from the telephone dirctory of DeSimone's in the area and there were many. I sent each one a SASE and asked then if they would let me know where the family came from and if they would be willing to share family history. That was about 15 years ago and I have never received one reply.
