DESMONDs in South Africa

Surnames: Desmond, Johnstone
Hi there, I'm looking for info on any Desmonds in South Africa - particularly an Ignatius Desmond who immigrated from Ireland, probably in the early 1900's. He settled in Port Elizabeth and he worked as a miner. He was also originally married to Adelaide Johnstone and they had two children here called Jacky and Bessy. I'm afraid that's all the info I have which is making it terribly difficult to find info - the only other thing I have are photographs which don't really help too much. Whoever can help out will really be my hero. :)
