Firmin Desoto was a witness on my grandmothers marriage liscence. Her name was Lou Lonidier and she married Hugh Jenkins in Avoyelles Parish in 1891. I am trying to find out who her parents were. She possibly had brothers named Clem and Jim. Her mother died when she was born or very young. She settled in the Deville area and gave birth to 17 children.
