Hello,
I am looking for information on Philip Robert Adam Despard, born about 1902 in Ireland, probably Dublin. He died on Feb 20, 1876 in Dublin.
He is beleived to have had a sister, Frances, born about 1809 who died unmarried in Dublin on Oct 16, 1869.
Philip R.A.Despard married Anna Poe in 1829 in Dublin. Anna was born 1812 in Ireland (probably County Tipperary) she is believed to be the daughter of William Poe and Bryanna Gabbett.
Their children were Eliza (born abt 1830); Philip Robert (born 1836); and Francis Samuel (born 1840).
Sons Philip & Frances were both constables with the RIC.
Son Philip married Jane Morris on Nov 30, 1865 in Limerick.
