Hi there .. I am new here today so dont quite know how this site works. Anyways. We are from central Ontario and My Fathers name is Richard Blondin. The family is the only Blondin's in our area, We are unsure but heard that the name originated from " Samuel-de-Blondin" which is french pronounced. It is said that it was too long so the first half was dropped Leaving just Blondin, Dont know if its a joke but also was said that the full name durrived from royalty many year ago... lol
