My grandfather James Devine was adopted by Green family and his sister by another family, when their parents died in Prince Edward Isle, somewhere in the 1870's, we think. James came to Bangor, Maine as James Green, and married Julia Collins from New Brunswick around 1896 or 7. Any help would be appreciated my cousins' and I have hit a blank wall, as church burned with all records.
