Medros- in this city Sept. 30,1921. Margaret, beloved wife of Frank Medros. Sister of Mrs. Etta Bassett of Tuscola, Illinois, Mrs. J A Harrell of Decatur, Illinois, And Frank E Devoll of Yakima Wa. A native of Illinois, she was 38 yrs old.

This appeared in the Oakland Tribune. I am the GGrandauther of Etta Devall Bassett. would like to connect with this line and share, but only have info on the Devall/Devoll line. Would love any info on this Frank. any children?

Hi.
Yesterday I bought an instant relative photo at an antiques store in John Day Oregon. On the back of the photo is the following inscription: Callie DeVoll and Mr. Eva Pidcoes, father and stepmother.

I'd love to return this photo to a family member. The name Pidcoes is no where on ancestry, which is a little strange and Callie DeVoll isn't either.

Abner Devoll was born Febuary 1,1758 in Dartmouth, Ma His wife Abigail Tripp was born May 19, 1758 in Sandwich, Ma. They were married June 2. 1780 in Sandwich, Ma. Abner's parents were Benjamin Devoll and Sarah Brownell and Abigail's parents were Samuel Tripp and Mary Wing. Does anyone have this family in your family tree

I am trying to determine if a Daniel Devolld from Noble Co.,
OH was the father of my John Duval/Devolld. John founded
a town/village of Sarahsville after his wife Sarah 'Sally'
Moore. Are your Devollds any relation to either of them?
If you can help me in any way, I sure would appreciate it.

My gggrandmother was Elizabeth Devoll b. 1849 in Licking County.. Married Willis H. Jones on 10/6/1861.
She died in Newark OH in 1927. I am searching for the names of Elizabeth's parents.

My g.grandmother Elizabeth DeVoll was born (supposedly in Licking County) on March 1, 1847 and died Sept. 22, 1927 in Licking County. She maried Willis Hamilton Jones on Oct. 6, 1861. Children were: Flora Alice (my grandmother) b. 1868; Bert E., b. July 1884; Frank b. 1872; Allen b ?; and Amzi, b. 1873. This is all the info. I have on her.

Hi, I just want to share some information I ran across this week. I was able to find my great grandfather in Oregon rather than California. His wife and children seperated to California and for some reason included her husband on the census report. While searching records in the county where my grandfather was born I came across a marriage record which fits but names spelled Devall and a death record that spells it Devott. The tt could easily be confused will ll when reading penmanship. And I also found a probate abstract that said my great grandparents separated early 1900's and Mary married a Wagoner which fits in with the 1910 California census.
I wanted to share this information about the spellings so you might use it if you are having any problems also.
