      <description>CALDWELL, Ohio -- Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, Caldwell, Ohio for Donald Lee DeVolld, 77, of Belle Valley, Ohio who passed away Tuesday (April 1, 2008) at his home. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The Rev. Jim Garrett will officiate. Burial will follow in Crooked Tree Cemetery, where the Noble County Veteran Service Organizations will conduct military graveside services. Immediately following the graveside services everyone is invited to a meal at the Noble Learning Center (former Armory) in Caldwell.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was born on Dec. 20, 1930, in Caldwell, a son of the late Marshall and Irene Hess DeVolld.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. DeVolld was a 1948 graduate of Belle Valley High School. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force as a control tower operator. He was stationed in Washington D.C., and Japan. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He worked for the U.S. Post Office for 37 years in Dexter City, Macksburg and retired from Marietta, Ohio.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He had many interests and talents. His hobbies included flea markets, yard saling, computers and "tinkering." He was the family "handyman," carpenter and mechanic. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He enjoyed trips to Florida in the winter, mowing grass in the summer, restoring antique furniture and making old things look new.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy, and infant sister, Claudette.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He leaves his wife, Imogene Carrel DeVolld of the home; three sons, Carrel (Amy) DeVolld of Sarahsville, Ohio; Darrel (Laurie) DeVolld of Belle Valley, Ohio; and Donnie (Lashona) DeVolld of Sarahsville; two daughters, Marsha (Brad) Patterson of Largo, Fla., and Kimberly DeVolld of Charlotte, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way; one brother, Rick (Barb) DeVolld of Columbus, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews and friends.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Noble county, Ohio&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

Charles W. born 1877, all born in Illinois. They were in Newton Co. Missouri, Shoalcreek Twp.in 1880. Catherine Devolld married James Richard Gatliff in Newton Co. Missouri 23 -September 1882.
