Charles changed his name when he arrived I believe in Michigan in the early 1860's from Belguim. Charles maybe Anglisized also. Family has his birthday as 15 August 1820. Charles was married in Belguim to unknown woman. Did bring 1 son with him to USA. Known only as Louis. He was born 1846 in Belguim. Charles married widow Archange Furtaw (Freton) mid 1860's in Macomb County Michigan. Had 2 children and moved to Bay County area. Sons Peter Louis born 12 March 1864 in Mount Clemens. David Theodore born 30 May 1865 also in Mount Clemens. Any and all help appreciated.
