Surnames: DOICE, DOIS
A death record of one of my great grandmother's brother's gave the maiden name of their mother as DOICE. In the 1850 cenus of Newton Co MS my grgr grandmother Harriet WILLIAMS was age 40 born SC.

I have found a John DOIS in MS in 1845.

Have you found either of these spellings DOICE/DOIS in researching the DEWEESE surname?

I know I'm probably reaching, but I did have to ask?

Thank you,
