IN POLICE CIRCLES.

William DEWEESE, a demented citizen of Westport,
made his appearance in this city yesterday and when
discovered by Officer FOSTER was wandering aimlessly
about the streets of this place. He did not seem sufficiently
rational to give any account of himself, and was accordingly
placed under surveillance and his family and friends at his
home notified.
