I'm looking for the parents of George H. DEWEY said to be born November 1863 in MA. That information from census records. He married Aerie L. DOUGHMAN on 10 December 1884 in Mt. Pleasant, Labette County, Kansas. George was on the 1900 and 1910 Cherokee County, Kansas census. The children that they had were: Rhoda J. born 1885; Grace A. born 1887; Ida C. born 1889; Clifton R. born 1891 and Martin G. born 1896.

From a letter that Aerie's brother wrote, it states that Aerie and George had 5 children and they were descendants of Admiral George Dewey, I would like to verify this and find out how George H. Dewey is related to Admiral Dewey. If anyone can help, please contact me.
