While at the library copying obits for someone, I managed to get a copy of the following obit. I am in no way related to this person, but wanted to post the obit in case it was helpful to someone else.

J. Boyd Dexter
J. Boyd Dexter, a former resident of West Medford, but for the past two years a resident of Chelmsford, making his home at 22 Priscilla avenue, died yesterday afternoon. He was 84. He was born in Annapolis, Md., the son of Charles H. and Margaret (Murdock) Dexter and attended the schools in that city following which he entered St. John's college from which he graduated. For 30 years, prior to his retirement in 1946, he was associated with Veterans Administration in Washington, D.C., as an electrical engineer. His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gladys (Prince) Dexter; two grandsons, Charles H. Dexter of South Plainfield, N.J. and Thomas L. Dexter of South Miami, Fla.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Barbara C. Floyd of Chelmsford and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sarah Dexter of Birmingham, Ala. Active in fraternal affairs, he was a member and Past Master of Osiris Lodge No. 26, A.F. and A.M. of Washington, D.C. and was also a Charter Member of Lodge No. 622 BPOE of Annapolis, Md.
