Jason Dexter; Darius Dexter CT early 1800's

Surnames: DEXTER, ROOT
Can anyone help? I'm researching JASON DEXTER, b. 8 May 1825 in CT, near Mansfield, m. Elizabeth ROOT of Ware, MA, 28 Nov 1845. He died in Somers, CT 4 March 1890 and she died in Somers on 1 Jan 1892. My great Aunt had his father as DARIUS DEXTER, b. 1789, married to Phebe, b. 1 March 1792. DARIUS died 13 Oct 1857, most likely in CT. I know there is a DARIAS who was born in Mansfield, but that was 30 years earlier than "mine". I have seen the Censuses which show a DARIUS of the correct age bracket as "mine" living in CT in the towns of: Willington, and Mansfield. SO: Does anyone have any info they can share with me?
