I have been working with the Tithes Applotment books trying to find my Dalzells prior to their immigration to Canada in 1831. I have a Thomas in Corryhughes, Derrynoose in 1825 and a Robert in Canagh, Derrynoose in 1827. My hunch is that Thomas immigrates to Canada via New York in 1846 to join his brother/cousin? Robert DALZELL who had been living with his wife Margaret in Kitley, Leeds, Ontario since 1831.

Does anyone have any more information about these people. or other Dalzells who may have come from the Derrynoose or Tynan Parishes?
