Hello,
Have you ever heard about the book written by Fr. Julien Deziel, O.F.M. about titled, La Famille Deziel-Labreche? It starts with the two brothers, who came from France to Quebec in 1665 and works all the way down to the late 1960s. It's all in French however. Check the Bibliotheque Nationale du Quebec.
La famille Déziel-Labrèche : histoire et généalogie / Julien Déziel. -- - Déziel, Julien, 1907-1990 [*36 rec.] - 1978
I found a likely family in the 1901 census of Ste.Flore, Champlain,Quebec. Not sure where family is in 1911. Does anyone know when/where Isabelle dies? Wondering where family members are now. Isabelle's parents are Joseph Valliere & Rosalie Bougret-Dufort.
Thanks for any clues!
Patty
(gg grandfather is brother to Isabelle)

The picture is black and white, of course, and the photo is on the front of a Post Card. I've found many photos made on this type of Post Card which must have popular in those days. No photographer noted but on the reverse is the name Marg Deziel written only. Anyone knowing the descendents of this person, please contact me.

Amando Deziel

I am seeking information about Amando Deziel who was the son of Raymond Deziel and the grandson of Amable Deziel. Apparently Amando was born in Puerto Rico. Did Amando have any children? Amando would be my grandfather's 1st cousin. (Amando's Dad and my grandfather's dad were brothers) I would appreciate any information.

Honore Deziel

There was a mistake about Honore Deziel having another son besides Louis. Honore's father, Amable, had a son named Raymond who had a son named Amando from Porto Rico. This must be the male Deziel that Sue Deziel is related to. Does any one have any information about Amando?

Deziel's

I am a decendent of Amable Deziel-LaBreche who had a son named Honore (my great grandfather). I know this because my brother has access to the family book Deziel-LaBreche by Julian Deziel. Does anyone know much about Honore's sons. Besides my grandfather Louis Deziel-LaBreche (i.e., a son of Honore) I supposedly have a great uncle (also a son of Honore) who moved to Porto Rice and has/had a son. I am trying to figure out whether there are any Deziel men stemming from Honore besides those from my grandfather Louis Deziel-LaBreche.
