Hello,
Have you ever heard about the book written by Fr. Julien Deziel, O.F.M. about titled, La Famille Deziel-Labreche? It starts with the two brothers, who came from France to Quebec in 1665 and works all the way down to the late 1960s. It's all in French however. Check the Bibliotheque Nationale du Quebec.

Looking for descendants of Joseph Deziel who married Isabelle Valliere in Manchester, NH in 1881. By 1904 they lived in Ste.Flore, Quebec. I found a likely family in the 1901 census of Ste.Flore, Champlain,Quebec. Not sure where family is in 1911. Does anyone know when/where Isabelle dies? Wondering where family members are now. Isabelle's parents are Joseph Valliere & Rosalie Bougret-Dufort.

The 1881 Canadian Census has Ida Deziel b 1866-69, daughter of Honore and Adeline living in Wakefield, Ottawa, Quebec.

I think this is the same Ida that later married William Last b 1855-61 son of Henry and Mary Hane Hall. Their eldest child Archibald was born in 1885-87.

Looking for any information on Ida or her family.

Hi.
In my family, I have Julienne Jacques dit Rochon, born feb. the 6th, 1837,who was married with Louis Deziel Labreche, in St Augustin, Q.C. in 1866. I know they have had Isabelle and Arthur and other children.
Julienne was my grand mother's aunt.

Located an old photo of a young girl making her Confirmation as she is wearing a long veil with no ring on her left finger. The picture is black and white, of course, and the photo is on the front of a Post Card. I've found many photos made on this type of Post Card which must have popular in those days. No photographer noted but on the reverse is the name Marg Deziel written only. Anyone knowing the descendents of this person, please contact me.

My name is George De Ziel. I am a descendent to George P. De Ziel whos father was Wilfred Hector (aka Louis) De Ziel and Catherin De Ziel (nee Early). My aunt Louise De Ziel was aware of a book written by Father De Ziel. I was wondering if you could give me any additional information. From what I understand, my grandfather, Wilfred was the son of Louis De Ziel who emmigrated to the USA through Canada from France. From what we understand Louis and his family lived in Quebec. Deziel is also know as LaBreck. Deziels have weaved thru
my family tree for ever. I have a family tree of the Deziels and it appears the the name was mispronounced from
Delaguel. My Grandmother was Bellemare and her mother was
a Deziel, One of my Grandfather (great, great type) was
Married to a Deziel/LaBreck. Yvette Deziel from Watertown
Connecticut was my cousin and her mother was Mary Anne

Does anyone know much about Honore's sons.
