I am not sure if I replied to your message if not I am sorry I see that we both have Houston Doyle in our family and both come from the DeRidder area have you got his marriage paper my grandfather also died at 39 but was born 1884 I was wondering if we could be looking at the same man or it is just that two men have the same name and living in the same place.

Im researching the family of Peter T Dial and Ive hit a wall. My great great grandfather was listed in the 1900 Census as being george Dial, married to Molly Chavis and living in Alabama. the 1910 census shows their children only living in GA with Molly's parents, william and ava Chavis. one of those children was Jimsey Dial. I found his death info and had his father listed as Bunk Dial. Since both george and Bunk are listed as peters children I dont know where to go. Any help would be appreciated

Hello, I would love to see your pictures. I found out that many times to keep up with heritage and family relationship that a child would carry the mothers maiden name as their middle name so I really feel like the name Allen was a family that someone in the dial family married into. Also,did you trace any of your Dial relatives to Mississippi or Alabama? I am very excited and happy you took the time to write to me and I hope we are related so please forward me your pictures. Unfortunately, I only have one picture of my grandfather William Richard Dial and not any pictures of his father or mother.

Did I send you the picture of my g-grandfather, John A. Dial? If I did, was there any resemblance? The "A." is "Anderson" after his grandfather, John Anderson Dial. I have a brother who has the middle name of "Allen" and I never knew where it came from. More to find!

Im looking at my Dial side and they are poping up in Gibson County Tn and Lake County Tn. They are William Dial, James Dial, then to Luther Dial who was married my ggrand mother Pearl in Gibson County and they lived in Lake County. My father's mother (Mary Arizona Dial)died when he was 2 yrs old (1921) and so far I haven't been able to identify her parents. She may have grown up in the area between Carbondale Illinois and Pinckneyville Illinois....possibly Vergennes....don't know for sure. She and my grandfather (Zachariah Monroe Dillon) were in Benton Illinois when she died from smallpox. I'd love to see your research and see if I can find her family.

My Grandpa was a Gail Dial from Branchland up on 4 mile creek road. He died in 1996 or 97. He served in WWII and was a decorated hero. He was battlefield commisioned to 2nd LT from the rank of Staff Sargent. His dad I think was a Jonny/Johnny Dial.

I am one of the biological son's of Randolph Franklin Dial. He was a famous fugitive for about 11 years and famous for his Art as well. I have been looking for the madden name of his mother and possibly her parents. I just know her name was Milly or Mildred. Randolph dial died in prison in 2007.

Rockwall, Texas, May 24 - Mrs. A. Dial was buried yesterday in the city cemetery. About two weeks ago Mrs. Dial a=was adjudged insane and a warrant was issued by the county judge and placed in the hands of the sheriff commanding him to take her to the asylum at Terrell, but her physical condition forbade her removal. She died last Sunday morning, leaving a husband and five small children to mourn their irreparable loss.
