The Dias name appears in two of my family lines. In one case it is found with the name Raposa, and in another case it is found as a last name for my great grandmother. Both these family lines are from Sao Miguel, the Acores.

My great grandmothers name is Maria Adelina Dias and she may have been born in 1865. She married Francisco Dias Raposa/Raposo. I do not believe that either of my great grandparents lived outside of the Acores.

They had several children including one named Francisco Dias Raposa.

Any help with these family lines are welcome. I do know a few other things that I could share.
