HELLO EVERYONE,

I am asking for your help to find my 1/2 sister, although I have never met her or even know her name. I recently learned of her existence and would love to find her. I know only a miracle will bring us together, since I don't have her name, DOB or birth place. But I believe in miracles, and know that someone knows something about my sister.

Her parents are:

LUIS DIAZ ONEILL (My Father) & ANA MARIA ORTIZ

My father had a brief relationship with Ana Maria in Caguas, PR, when she lived with her aunt/uncle's house in Caguas, PR. My father later moved to New York. They lost touch sometime before her birth and my father has asked that I try to find her.

I would love the opportunity to meet her and share our families, stories and just caught up.

My sister was born about 1964-1967. My father was told she looks like him, but never told where she was many years ago. My father is about 5'5, tanned skin, black wavy hair and green eyes.

Vitaro Lede/Ledey Diaz (who died at birth),

Mathilde Lede/Ledey Diaz (3/13/17 - 8/13/06) and

Modesto Lede/Ledey Diaz (my grandfather 6/13/21 - 2/10/87).

The only information I have on Josefa Diaz is that she was from Barrio: Cuebas or Talloboa Poniente, Penuelas. She died in 1921 a few days within giving birth to my grandfather.

My grandfather's name was Pedro Diaz. I'm not sure about when he was born, but he served in the Dominican Army and married Dolores Mena. They lived in Santo Domingo, D.R. and had 7 children. He passed away in April of 1973. My grandmother passed away in April of 1991. I don't know anything about my great-grandparents except their names. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bernie S. Diaz,77, of Las Cruces, New Mexico on December 29, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born December 9, 1930 in Gallup, New Mexico to Vicenta and Manuel Diaz. Mr. Diaz was a long time resident of La Mesa, NM. Before moving to Las Cruces 3 years ago, he served in the Marines for two years. Upon discharge, he married his loving wife of 54 years Maria De Atocha Lopez.
He was a certified mechanic for 30 years. After he retired, he and his wife started their own trucking company (Diaz Trucking) and working for companies around Las Cruces, El Paso, and Phoenix Arizona. They were also foster parents for many children around Las Cruces. Mrs. Diaz is a teacher's helper at Cesar Chavez Elementary. He was a very special dad to his sons, always there when they needed advise on mechanics, hunting, and life. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife Maria De Atocha Diaz. Two sons Gilbert L. Diaz and wife Sylvia of Las Cruces, Bernie L. Diaz and wife Cecilia of Las Cruces and Daughter in law Alicia Diaz of Albuquerque, NM and 15 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. Siblings are Maria Hernandez of Califorina, Juanita Tarin of Las Cruces, Guadalupe Gamboa and husband of California, Dolores Enciovas and husband Andy of California, Cora Seneffe of Califorina, Pat Martinez of Mesilla Park New Mexico, Rosa Aguirre and husband Jesus of El Paso Texas, Maria Clemente of California, Manuel Diaz and wife Margarita of California, Daniel Diaz and wife Dolores also of California.
Preceded in death by his parents, Son Hector L. Diaz brother Tony Diaz, and sister Magarita Diaz. A prayer vigil will be held at 7:00pm January 6,2008 with visitation one hour prior to service at San Jose Catholic Church in La Mesa. Funeral services will be 10:00am at the same church Monday January 7, 2008 with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery .

Epitacio Diaz owned the largest Cantina/Saloon in Torreón, Mexico around 1910-ish. It was called "La Feria" He was named Judge Auxiliar of the "rancho o Congregación El Torreón" from 1888 to 1890.

Passed away September 29, 2007 at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, P.A. He left this world surrounded by his wife of 40 years Justina and his daughters Luz, Marisol,Maria, and Madeline with as many as 20 other family members. My father was born June 16, 1939 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and lived in New Jersey for over 50 years. His mother's name was Isidra Colon and she married Luis Diaz-Vasquez. FIDEL BACA DIAZ, 84 years, born April 27, 1923, to Ygnacio and Josefa Diaz in San Bernardino, California, passed away August 21, 2007, in Colton, California. Known to everyone as "Lito", he attended Ramona Elementary School and graduated from San Bernardino High School one month prior to entry into entry into the United States Army Air Corps during World War II in February 1943. His Military Occupational Skill was Intercept Operator G, assigned to the 5th Radio Squadron. He served in World war II and received his Honorable Discharge as Staff Sergeant in February 1946. Shortly thereafter, he became employed as a Locomotive Painter with Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe Railway in San Bernardino, California, and retired as a Foreman - following in his father's footsteps. I am searching for the descendants of Filipe Diaz and his brother, Antonio Diaz, who resided and married in Wales in the early 1900's as follows:

Felipe Diaz was born about 1893 and married Felicita Cuesta (born about 1895) at Merthyr Tydfil, Wales in 1915. They had four children, as follows: Octavio Diaz (born 1915) married Eluned Lewis at Pontypridd in 1940; Amelia Diaz (born 1917) married William Greenwood at Merthyr Tydfil in 1940; Able Diaz (born 1922); and John Philip Diaz (born and died in 1926).

Antonio Diaz was born about 1895 and married Lillian M. Evans (born about 1897) at Neath, Wales. They also had four children as follows: Kanita B. M. Diaz (born 1918); Andras Diaz or Andrew Diaz (born 1920) married Gladys M. Nicholls; Alaina Diaz or Alaine Diaz (born 1925) married Llewellyn Jones at Neath in 1946; and Alfonso Diaz (born 1927) married Marguerita Bregeon at Pancreas in 1947.

Octavio Diaz's first son was Michael T. L. Diaz born 1942 at Carmarthen, Wales.

Phillip Nicholas Diaz Jr. entered the gates of heaven, Dec. 25, 2005, on Christmas day at the age of 42, with his family by his side after a brief illness.
Phillip was born March 25, 1963, in Ventura. He was a landscaper for 20 years and then became a plumber working for Paradise Plumbing in Ventura. His hobbies included music, and target shooting.

He is survived by his son, Phillip Nicholas Diaz III; daughter, Jennifer Nicole Diaz; and grandson, Joseph Ernest Vega, all of Ventura; girlfriend, Heidi Robinson; and ex-wife, Roma Diaz also of Ventura; brothers, Robert Rodriguez, and David Diaz, both of Santa Paula, and Rodney Diaz of Las Vegas; sisters, Michelle Diaz, and Christine Guzman, both of Santa Paula; god-daughters, Sabrina Gonzales, and Leanna Becerra, both of Ventura; numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Nicholas Diaz Sr.; and mother Joyce Phillips.

Her parent were Domingo Palmieri and Wanna Villanueva Palmieri (I'm not deffinate on the mother's name). I am looking for info on her and her daughter born Marta Rivera in PR in 1924. Provi was born in Juana Diaz, PR in Nov. 1893. Marta in Ponce, PR. Marta's father was Agustin Rivera also of Ponce, PR. Marta eneded up in NY, USA someway, she died there in Mar. 1974. North Shore Health Care Center in Loveland. She was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Tuloso, N.M., to Pedro Palomino and Carmelita (Montano) Palomino.
She was a resident of Las Vegas, N.M., for most of her life. She moved to Loveland in April 2004.
She was married to Antonio S. Garcia who preceded her in death in 1966. She later married Pedro Diaz on Sept. 13, 1968 in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 2004.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas and was involved with The Sacred Heart of Jesus Organization.
She was a loving mother, homemaker and caretaker all of her life. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and children.

As far as I knew my grandmother's maiden name was Biaz but that name doesn't seem to really exist! So maybe it was turned to or from Diaz. Her name was Evelyn Biaz b 19 Dec 1915 in CA. Grew up in San Gabriel, CA (a 'burb of LA) and went to San Gabriel Mission school. She had 2 brothers, Martin & Paul; a sister Jennifer. She married Frank (Francisco) Peter Beltran 24 Jun 1939 in So. I am looking for information on Armando Diaz, who was born in Naples, Italy in 1861 and died in Rome, Italy 1928. I found his picture on World War.com and he looks a great deal like my father, I orginially thought he was my great-grandfather but my great-grandfather did not die in Italy. He was a longtime Grocer wtih Guajardo's Cash Grocery; co-founder of radio station KMXX the first radio station in Austin that was Hispanic-owned.
He was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin an d was a past president of the Texas Chapter of LULAC,board member of the City of Austin Parks and Receration department and a lifelong member of the Texas Ex Student Association.
Survived by his sons, Roland Diaz and Rick Diaz;grandchildren are Christina Diaz, Jordan Diaz,Margaret Diaz of Austin and brother, Arturo Diaz and wife Elba of San Antonio, TX.
