Do you have any more information on Mildred. I have no family connection so please forgive me but I becama facinated with Mildreds life after buying a copy of her story 'The Yip Family of Amah Rock' what a wonderful woman she was. I see from the information you have that she died in 1987.

I would be happy to recieve any information you may be willing to give me.

Wow, if you are a Cordery, and married to a Didben, then you must be connected through Henry Cordery, who along with his best friend ***** Didben was bequeathed property valued at seventeen hundred pounds in the late 19th Century. Henry was a servant in the Didben house. Do a google search on Henry Cordery Didben and you will find it. Thanks, Richard Cordery

Hi to both you guys. steve mentioned Carole Steele's one name study so I thought I would put her web page address in here for you. Her email is there if you wanted to write and ask about these particular Dibdens. Carole has scads of information, long lists of names, etc.
My dibdens are still a mystery largely but for sure not the same as yours from what I can see. I think we all go back to Bramshaw though, all dibden roads lead to Bramshaw!

Wow! We just posted a request for information when we realized how shy we were with info on the Dibden side. John Thomas Langdon is my grandfather. Gillian and my mom, Jackie (Dibden) Gabert must be cousins. We have a bit of info about the Canadian branch of the family.

I have been doing some research into my Dibden ancestors. I have an Emma Dibden (Prince) b. c.1820. She married Charles Dibden b. c.1825 in Southampton. The marriage took place 03Dec1848 in Southampton. Emma's father was John Prince.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if we are chasing the same tree!!
