Dick Family in Scotland - when did they arrive?

for years we have been able to trace much of our Dick family history through the Prussian/German/Russian side of the world but it appears that part of the family moved to Scotland as well. Just wondering if anyone has info on the where and how the family began arriving (appearing) in Scotland.
