Becky, the David Dick you have questions about is my ggggGrandfather. The Mary Dick you are asking about is not his sister, but his daughter. She was born in 1770 and married Reuben Booton Feb. 15 1791. I believe Abraham is David Sr.'s brother, but I have not found concrete evidence. David Dick Sr. and his wife Ellen/Elinor (Simpson) Dick had 8 children: Mary, William, Jane, Nancy(Agness), John , David, James, and Sarah. William married Sarah Garten 1793. Jane married Samuel Canterbury 1798. James married Fanny Cales 1797. Agness married Elijah Jerrell 1804. John married Jane Cales 1809. David married Nancy Dixon 1808. and Sarah married James Cales 1810. I am still trying to find out who David Sr. and Ellen's siblings and parents are. You can find both David and Abraham Dick mentioned in Chalkley's Chronicle of the Scots-Irish Settlement of Virginia and in Morton's, A History of Rockbridge County, Virginia.
