I am searching for information on Grand Chenier, Vermmillion Parish, LA. My g.g.grandparents, John Dick and Amanda Williams Dick, lived in Grand Chenier. Also, my g.g.g. grandfather, Benajah Williams migrated to the Grand Chenier area from MS. I've been able to find Grand Chenier on a map but haven't been able to find anyone who can tell me what it is like today. I'm assuming that it is very small. Anything anyone can tell me about Grand Chenier is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
