I dont know if it is helpful to you but My family is from oregon and George was a popular name. My Great Grandfather and Great great uncle have that name we are in oregon and my be able to find some answers for you.

I am looking for my great great uncle Carlos Dickason or ? Last known whereabouts was Oregon, around Klamath Falls/Peoria. We believe his father was James Dickson, my great grandfather. We know that he had a son named Carlos who married Margie ?. Carlos and Maggie had 2 sons. The oldest was Bud and the last one, (that we know of ) was Bradley Wayne born on Feb. 9, 1964. CARSON CITY, Nev. — Jack S. Dickason, 75, died Monday, April 17, 2006, at his home in Carson City, Nev. Born Aug. 21, 1930, he was a son of Walter and Margaret Dickason of Kokomo.

Jack attended school in Kokomo and served his country honorably in Korea with the Marine Corps. He spent his life working in sales for A & P, AIL Insurance and A. Rifkin Co.

Jack is survived by Barbara, his wife of 23 years; a sister, Marilyn Shuck (Gene) of Kokomo; and three daughters, Laura Sopeth (Gary) of Lakeville, Minn., Denise Broeker of St. Charles, Mo., and Brenda Wilson (John) of St. Louis, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Walter and Helen Dickason; his mother, Margaret Wallace Hollingsworth; and sisters Shirley Dickason and Marjorie Wesner.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Saint Mary’s Foundation Hospice Fund, 520 W. 6th St., Reno, Nev. 89503.

The Jacob Dickason that settled in Columbia Co Wis. came from Fayette Co Ohio and before that Monroe co. Vir. He had a son Isaac who was born in 1828 in Ohio and married Elizabeth Moore in Columbia Co Wis.

Rachael Dickerson/Dickason married Joseph Robison appox. 1841 in Richland Co, OH. They lived there until 1856, then moved to WI. In 1869 the family moved to Worth Co, MO. Joseph and Rachel had 5 children, 3 males; J.L Robison, W.L. Robison and James Leander Robison and 2 females unnamed (possibly Emily Eunice). I am looking for any additional information. P.S. Rachael may be the daughter of Asa and Margaret Dickerson/Dickason.

A DickAson DNA project is underway. 8 to 10 world wide lines have been identified. Researchers are known in five of these lines, and DNA testing is underway in four of them (results have not yet been received in early January 2003). Emphasis within this project is on the exact spelling DickAson. Of course spellings may be related, but first efforts are being focuses on the DICKASON spelling. If interested see:

Searching for information on the family of a Dr. Dickason who was married to Margaret Elizabeth Thill. Margaret had a twin sister, Katherine, who married a Jackson. The twins moved with their father, Joseph Thill, to Kansas. Joseph later moved to OK and died in OK in 1914. Any info you can provide on the Thill family would be appreciated.

I'm looking for a Man named Robert Dickason, middle initial A. could stand for Andre or Andrew. I Believe Robert is the son of Henry Lake Dickason, the former president of Bluefield State College and his wife Flossie.
I believe he african american. He may be very fair. If anyone thinks they know him please reply.

These Dickasons resided in West Virginia in the 40's and 50's. They later moved to Kentucky or Tennesse or both.

Hi Rose: Asa Frakes was a minister who married Rebecca Ann Dickerson, according to our family records. Asa's father was Philip Frakes, and his mother was Phoebe Case. Asa's dates are 1803-1873 and Rebecca's dates are 1806-1875. They had a son, William, whose daughter Sarah married John Marine Watson (our family) in 1875. I have more infor. if you wish.
