Hi Rhonda. Thank you for your message re Dickie. I think the Sir Archibald is a bit of a red herring, as I also have a copy of Margaret and Charles marriage record. My connection is as follows Margaret and Charles were my g,g,g grand parents. Their son James Alexander b 1801 Dundee my g,g,grandfather, his son Captain David Milne Dickie b 1823 Dundee my g,grandfather. He married Ann Mckenzie Dickie ( no relation) from Montrose, and they came to New Zealand in 1860 and settled in Dunedin. My grandfather James was born 1872. David died 1873. James was the youngest of 7. There are many descendants. What is your connection to the family? I live in Wanaka NZ.
