Surnames: Dickie, Wilson, Thomson, Howatson
Janet DICKIE was a daughter of James DICKIE of Hillockhead, Mauchline, Ayrs, by Margaret WILSON.
She married William THOMSON, Ploughman in Galston, & had issue including a son William THOMSON, b 1823, who marr Janet Burns HOWATSON, & farmed at Wester Highgate, Beith. William & Janet were my gt-gt-grandparents.
There were other siblings, including Gavin DICKIE, & I think I have some notes about him at home.
